This upcoming Healing Drum Retreat will be April 16-18, 2010 at Brighton Creek Conference Center near Yelm Washington. It’s a lovely drive on a sunny day, it feels as thought you are driving into Mt Rainier! This retreat facility offers us a large meeting room, a cafeteria where we hold the drum making and other projects throughout the weekend, nice cabins, and acres of beautiful grounds to walk.
We’ll begin the event with the drum making class on Friday evening, and it is recommended that if you want to make a drum you should sign up soon to choose your frame and hide. The prices for the drum making class vary based upon the size of the drum and the type of hide you choose. Those who are attending the healing drum retreat are welcome to attend the class whether they are making a drum or not. This time is a great social time, and we begin our journey into the healing and uplifting energy that carries us through the weekend.
Saturday morning we start with a delicious breakfast and then move on into the day with an opening blessing and meditation. We’ll have many topics to cover throughout the day on healing, health, change, clearing our thoughts and allowing our soul energy to speak more clearly.
Crafting is always a part of the Healing Drum Retreat, whether it is medicine bags, drum beaters, dream catchers, or some other expressive art project. At the last Healing Drum Retreat we made feather fans with beading.
This Healing Drum Retreat will have a special class offering given as a part of the Healing Drum Retreat. Estee will offer the first segment in the Energy Clearing Certification Program to all Healing Drum Retreat participants. This class segment is a $125 value, but at the April Healing Drum retreat this class is no charge!
The retreat, including meals and lodging is the bargain price of $200 if you register before April 10th. After April 10th the cost is $225. Drum making is an extra option as well, reasonably priced at $125 and up.
